About Leigh Davidson

I am a professional development facilitator and teacher trainer, with a CELTA certification, background in ESL instruction, and proven ability to deliver e-learning resources and training materials in an effective and engaging manner. My training approach arises from social constructivist methods, integrating technology and expanding the digital literacy of participants through varied distance learning (DL) platforms. Apart from my specialty in utilizing the transformative power of drama to support learning, my greatest strengths are my ability to quickly build solid and sound rapport with staff and training participants, as well as my malleable and technology-rich training materials. In my current role at the North Carolina Community Colleges System Office, I am broadening my 6+ years of experience and expertise in professional development and teacher training. I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to continue providing guidance, instruction, and mentorship on best instructional practices in the ABE classroom.
