About Leighton Durham

I am the Chief Executive Officer of Trained Therapeutix, Inc, where we are developing a new class of immunotherapies that train the body’s innate immune system to fight cancer, autoinflammatory disease, and transplantation rejection. Our science is based on cutting-edge research from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Radboud University Medical Center, and our nanomedicine platform is designed to reprogram innate immune cells to deliver durable, systemic immune responses. Under my leadership, Trained Therapeutix has expanded across the U.S. and Europe, built a subsidiary in Oss, the Netherlands, and advanced three preclinical programs (RIDE-001, RIDE-002, and RIDE-003) toward clinical readiness.I am also a founding and managing partner of a civil appellate practice focused on providing legal briefing and argument at the trial level and lead counsel appellate services in appellate courts. Our practice areas include personal injury and commercial litigation in both state and federal courtsMy background blends bioenvironmental science and law, giving me a unique perspective and strategic vision for biotech development and law firm management.
