About Leisa Chell
Having worked at News Limited for just shy of 20 years, I then took up a role at Scenic Tours (now known as Scenic), as the Advertising and Communications manager. It spurned a love of travel, which saw my husband and I take off in a 4WD and slide-on-camper for a two year odyssey around Australia. On return, I took on project based work which saw me as the Operations Manager of a new magazine, Affordable Weddings, NSW. What set it apart is that the magazine includes weddings for every budget plus it has information for more than 320 wedding suppliers and all of them give real prices for their services. This had never been done before and something the advertisers relished!In July 2013, I once again immersed myself full time in the media industry, accepting a role at Big Splash Media. After four years in media, I once again turned to travel and accepted a position at MSC Cruises, were I sailed for 7.5 years.And now the time has come, to say farewell and head into the sunny days of retirement.
