Background

About Lemae Mortimer

Passionate and results-driven professional with a strong background in project and operations management within NGOs and tertiary education. With 3 years of experience, I've coordinated projects and managed operations in sustainability, educational programs, and emergency service sectors. My commitment to sustainability, climate justice, social justice, and collective impact is unwavering. In my role as a Project Officer at the University of Melbourne's Wattle Fellowship Program, I honed my project management skills while executing community engagement and handling administrative tasks. As a freelancer for an international Climate Change NGO, I demonstrated my innovative approach by constructing an online resource hub from scratch, as well as a organisational wide Kumu network map. My time as a Operator at ESTA (Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority) allowed me to develop excellent interpersonal skills while working under high-pressure situations. This role also required exceptional time management and prioritisation skills to ensure timely assistance during emergencies. With a Master's degree in International Development Practice from Monash University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Western Sydney University, my academic background complements my practical experience. I am always open to new connections and opportunities that allow me to use my skills for impactful work. Feel free to get in touch via LinkedIn or email: lemaejmortimer@gmail.com.
