About Len Busha

Len has amassed a rare combination of marketing, communications, analytical, fiscal and administrative experience. Before assuming marketing management responsibility at NORESCO in 2010, he spent ten years honing business development and proposal writing expertise as a member of project teams that secured half a billion dollars of integrated energy and water use efficiency and infrastructure projects. In a supervisory capacity, he went on to mentor and manage a team of proposal writers that helped NORESCO secure several hundred million dollars of additional business. As Director of Marketing since 2012, Len has led a corporate marketing team responsible for brand management, print and web collateral, CRM administration, trade show planning and logistics, market research, and new market development initiatives, as well as proposal content management. He also leads NORESCO’s customer care team and oversees NORESCO’s industry-leading behavioral energy program, Energy Conservation Through Behavior Change®. Len’s extensive experience with government budgeting, accounting, and procurement practices gives him unique insight into the needs and challenges faced by NORESCO’s many government customers. Prior to joining NORESCO, he enjoyed 12 years of distinguished public service with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue where he served as a Research Analyst and Management Analyst before his appointment as a Division Bureau Chief for Administration and Finance. As Bureau Chief, he was responsible for his Division's $60 million operating budget, and oversaw all procurement activities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial transaction processing. He also oversaw financial reporting and analysis and federal grant management. With the Commonwealth, Len was a member of three separate Pride in Performance award-winning project teams, including one which earned the Manuel Carballo Governor's Award for Excellence in Public Service.
