BS degree in animal science at Oklahoma State University in 1977. 6 years experinece as either a USDA meat grader or Beef operations Carcass Selector / Grading coordinator. 1980-83 included kosher meat production.1983 to 1990 was involved in National restaurant chain acoount sales at Monfort portion Foods.1990 forward to 2008 was involved in chain account sales, product mamagement/pricing, and raw material procurement for Excel/Cargills vlaue added foodservice disvison.Moved to Milwaukee, WI and spent 3-4 years with the Emmpak merger / aquistion.Enjoy helping foodservice operations with raw material procing and cost control, as well as presenting benefits to premium product lines like CAB/ Angus branding, etc. 2008 to current have been transportation freight claims manager. Interact with all Cargill business units at technical service,operations, and sales levels to mange food safety risk and loss recovery for Cargill on any domestic or International tranbsoprtation related non conformance from standard over, short, and damage issues, cold chain related temperature rejections, and accodent loads. Business units that are supported are Cargill Beef,Pork,Case Ready, Foodservice, and Retail Turkey and Cooked Meat.
