About Lenise Collimore

What happens when you take an Australian teen from the height of summer and drop her into the depths of a Finnish winter? Frozen eyebrows is one answer, but there are so many more layers to this answer (pun intended). This was my introduction to culture shock but also to adaptation. It was a jumble of incredibly long and strange sounds, but also the beginning of a love of language. It was being a stranger, far from home, but it was also the opportunity to build relationships and find inventive ways of communicating and sharing stories. And this is what I do. I build relationships. I listen to my the needs of my clients and students, and make it easier for them achieve their goals. I help my students improve their English skills so they can get through their school work, or land that dream job, or make that daunting phone call. I share stories. Stories that allow businesses and non profits to spread their message or make that extra sale. Stories to support expats in adapting to life in a new land. Stories to connect people. As they say, communication is key! People and communication. That's my key.
