About Lenny Davidowitz

Over the past 30 years I have been heavily involved in the creative output of material in all major Campaigns, Shows and Special Events for the network. Integral with the redesign and execution of major HBO Shows produced by the company: Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, HBO World Championship Boxing, and Inside the NFL and in the process has won several Emmy Awards. Also worked on episodic and recaps on shows like Oz, Sopranos, Sex and the City, Entourage, Deadwood, Six Feet Under, True Blood, Boardwalk Empire,Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Wire, and several other promotional items. I edited major concerts, like NSYNC, The Rolling Stones. I have constantly strived to improve the strength and smoothness of the way the studio is run in many ways: Integral part of the team that created the workflow for finishing delivering spots. Designed and Created the state of the art multimillion dollar editing suite Hybrid C. Liner and non-liner combined– the most versatile and top grossing room at the studio. Consults all editors and troubleshoots problems on a daily basis. Liaison between HBO Creative/ Sports and studio in improving workflow. Developed strong relationships and respect from coworkers as well as VP’s, Directors and producers. Finished several documentaries for the network working with the Documentary department and Sports. Empire Video /President Created and ran one of the top five post-production facilities in New York City for over fifteen years. I was in charge of every aspect of the facility from designing the rooms, acquiring clients, managing the staff, and promotion of the company. We worked with such multimillion dollar clients as Burger King, Victoria Secret, Revlon, Coca Cola, and American Airlines. This lead to a slew of awards over the years including Emmys, Cleos, and Monitor awards. I also went on to create my own very successful subdivision of the company, Animihouse: a high end graphics and animation house.
