About Lenny Valme

Lenny Valme graduated with her BA from the University of William Paterson, renowned for its excellent psychology, health, and science programs. Valme is currently starting her master's at Grand Canyon University in forensic psychology. She is actively looking to network within the field and gain more experience. Currently, Valme is working full-time at Davita Kidney Services as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to enhance her proficiency in patient care and empathy towards patients. In the past, she has worked extensively in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She had learned how to help and assimilate children with ASD into society, along with helping them to accomplish daily life skills. Her communication and observational skills are integral for helping understand the needs of these children as she writes caseloads for each child. These caseloads help research the best methods to assist the child at home or within a learning environment. Whether it is assistance in verbal communication, mobility, or in the one-on-one session done at the clinic, Valme’s skill with children who have ASD is integral to the field and versatile in her ability to expand her knowledge. She is starting her master’s degree in Forensic Psychology and looking for internships and jobs. In addition to applying for new internships and job opportunities, she is working to obtain licensure in forensic psychology and is eager to connect with others when opportunities arise.
