About Leo Bohanski

With over 20 years of experience defending clients on behalf of large insurance carriers and Fortune 500 companies, I shifted my practice to the Plaintiff’s bar with Sobo & Sobo to advocate for individuals facing personal injury. My current practice focuses on pursuing claims related to motor vehicle accidents, UM/UIM coverage, bad faith, construction defects, dram shop liability, products liability, and premises liability across both New York and Pennsylvania. The vast experience for working on the civil defense side provides clients an insight that most other lawyers cannot provide. I bring extensive expertise in handling complex economic damages cases involving the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law. Over the course of my career, I’ve tried more than a dozen trials and litigated hundreds of arbitrations in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I have successfully resolved numerous complex cases through mediation, often involving multiple tiers of insurance coverage. Though I’ve spent most of my life in the United States, I maintain strong connections with my family in Brazil. Outside of work, I’m an enthusiastic follower of the Premier League, PGA, MLB, and Formula 1. I enjoy golfing with my son and look forward to the day when my daughter can join us on the course. I’m also deeply committed to giving back to my community, especially by coaching youth sports.
