About Leo Capernaros

For the last 15 years I have been delivering, commissioning and managing wellbeing, safety and mental health programmes across the UK and New Zealand. During this time I spent six years managing a workplace health and wellbeing programme across multiple employers in Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, drawing a particular focus on mental health and musculoskeletal health in a workplace context. I worked closely with over 100 large and small employers from the private, public and charitable sectors achieving a range of positive wellbeing outcomes as well as improved business outcomes. In 2018 I used this body of experience to make the switch to internal corporate health and wellbeing, taking the position of Wellbeing Manager at the Civil Aviation Authority where for three years I was responsible for designing and delivering a wellbeing strategy for its 1250 employees. In 2021 I took the position of Wellbeing Manager at Mace, delivering a broad health and wellbeing strategy and programme for approx employees globally and supporting a supply chain of tens of thousands.
