About Leo Cernohous

I am a well-rounded student currently enrolled at the University of Iowa. Throughout my entire high school experience, I've been on the Varsity Cheer Team and have participated in eight different clubs such as the National Honor Society; simultaneously, I was the Head of Student Voice, HOSA, E-Sports and Link Crew. Throughout my high school years, I've maintained a 3.86 unweighted GPA and a 4.4 weighted GPA. Alongside my massive school involvement, I held a full-time job at Dairy Queen as Assistant General Manager (Youngest in franchise's history) and Head of Customer Service of the entire franchise. At Dairy Queen, I was able to hire and manage my own team of employees, resolve any form of issue involving a customer, and made major accomplishments under my management such as lowering the Overall Average Drive Time by 23.73 seconds and increasing the customer satisfaction rate by 34.21%. I've also completed a 100+ hour internship at Colorado Integrative Neurology. Alongside working overtime and completing my internship in the summer, I volunteered at the SPARKS program, a summer program for teaching gifted, talented kids as a High School Leader. My extraordinarily strong work ethic and passion for learning made me become an overachieving individual, ready to seize any opportunity.
