About Leo Eisner
I have long experience in both research and consulting spanning the globe. After completing my PhD on earthquake hazard assessment (Caltech) I joined Schlumberger where I mostly worked on downhole monitoring of microseismic events. Since 2008 I joined Microseismic Inc (MSI) where I led development department focusing on surface monitoring of microseismicity. Between 2010 and 2017 I worked at the Institute of Rock Mechanics and Structure. Since 2010 I am the president of consulting service company Seismik, s.r.o. I also teach for a professional course on microseismic monitoring for professional organizations (#EAGE and #HOTENG). My goal is improve our understanding of induced seismicity in general, and in more practical terms I try to help operators to understand and improve microseismic analysis in their reservoirs.
