About Leo Jaschke

I grew up in a large family on a small dairy farm in the Midwest. Why did I choose to lead my summary with this statement? Because at my core, it is a big part of who I am today.Growing up in a large family on a small dairy farm in the Midwest instilled in me the value of integrity, the power of working together, and the necessity of a strong work ethic. Each of these traits have served me well throughout my career in operational finance & accounting leadership roles and also in private equity.The family farm was also my introduction to the world of business – although I may not have realized it as a child while I was helping balance my parents’ check book.I have built my career leading and performing accounting, finance and treasury functions for national footprint companies. During my tenure with these companies, responsibilities held and shared by me included forecasting, planning & analysis, treasury management, risk management, financial reporting, SEC/CSE reporting, system implementations, creation and development of accounting & finance teams, audit management, lease renewals, capital expenditures, 144A bond offering, road shows, equity presentations, recapitalization, bank financing, §363 sales, turnarounds, mergers, and an initial public offering.I have leveraged my operating company experience by joining a private equity firm where I helped grow the profitability of a portfolio of companies (organically and through mergers & acquisition), created startups, divested assets, raised nearly $100 million in equity, led over $300 million of debt financing, guided business valuations, conducted due diligence, facilitated business integrations, developed finance & accounting teams, and guided continuous improvement in all areas.I hold an MBA from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business, a BS in Accounting with a Business Administration Minor from Minnesota State University – Mankato, and I am a Certified Management Accountant.
