I am a strategic and innovative leader with a strong background in the financial services industry in areas ranging from superannuation to asset management and advice. I love evaluating options, figuring out the core issues, and formulating contemporary, practical, and commercial solutions I have developed expertise in a number of disciplines including product strategy and lifecycle management, portfolio management, project management, investment governance, client and stakeholder management, and financial product advice/research. Here are some recent career highlights: · At MLC, I led the design and approval of a Socially Responsible Growth Fund as part of a broader superannuation simplification initiative. This landmark development for MLC required significant engagement and socialization with the executive and was approved by the MLC Trustee for launch in mid 2023. · At MLC, I drove the design, build, and launch of a new Global Private Equity Offer. A new structure and approach made this offer accessible to retail investors in Australia. This had never historically been an option. · At MLC, I led the development of the MLC Financial Planning Investment Philosophy. This was a significant piece of work to provide 120 financial planners with high level investment principles and a consistent approach to providing financial product advice to clients. The new framework addressed previous disparity in product recommendations from financial planners. · At ANZ, I was a substantial contributor to the ANZ Wealth Royal Commission Witness Statement, specifically relating to process and procedures of APL construction, non-APL process, conflicts of interest, and governance. I am good at building relationships, collaborating broadly, and establishing clear communication and action plans. This me to engage and take people with me on the journey. People will tell you that I am a trusted operator as well as a valuable leader and team member. I am looking for a role that enables me to leverage the skills and experience I already have.
