As CTO at SITURA, a leader in roofing and waterproofing solutions, I drive the company's technical vision, integrating deep materials science expertise with commercial strategy. My mission is to translate high-stakes engineering principles, developed over a decade in complex sectors like defense, nuclear, and energy, into advanced, durable, and market-leading solutions for the construction industry. I provide strategic oversight, technical guidance for all domestic and international business development opportunities, and am dedicated to expanding the skillset and professional development of our technical team. I bring over 15 years of technical R&D and industrial experience as an expert in materials degradation, corrosion protection, and advanced material characterization. My work has centered on solving critical industrial challenges, including the development of new alloy processes, specialized electroforming of complex components, and designing robust corrosion protection coatings. This expertise in material longevity and performance is directly applied to enhance SITURA's position as an industry leader in roofing and waterproofing systems. Beyond the technical domain, I am a seasoned senior leader with experience overseeing multi-million projects across all design phases. I hold both my engineering degree and doctorate from the University of Toronto in Materials Science, specializing in material degradation. I maintain an active relationship with the university by providing guest lectures for undergraduate classes.
