About Leo Rosarius

Leo is an experienced Investment Manager in U.S. Commercial Real Estate, currently overseeing a $200M+ fund focused on multifamily and build-to-rent value-add and development projects across the Sunbelt region. At GAR, he has honed his expertise in managing the entire investment lifecycle, from due diligence and acquisitions to asset and fund management, as well as overseeing divestments, achieving strong returns and driving portfolio growth. Before transitioning to real estate, Leo served as Head of Finance at a healthcare startup, where he implemented key financial and accounting systems, navigated multiple seed funding rounds, and established effective quality control and business processes. During this time, the company expanded from a small co-working startup to an international provider of surgical solutions, serving patients both within and outside the EU. Earlier in his career, Leo held multiple management consulting roles, specializing in restructuring, turnaround management, and process optimization. Leo holds a BSc in International Business Economics from Maastricht University, with a focus on finance and strategy. He recently completed his part-time studies as a Real Estate Economist ("Immobilienökonom") at IREBS University of Regensburg. Outside of work, Leo is passionate about road cycling and closely follows capital markets.
