About Leo Vick

After completing my design degree at UAL I worked for a variety of clients, including small businesses and individuals, as a freelance graphic designer. I've created websites, print work, branding and a large range of other design projects.I decided to move in a different direction with my career and got a performance marketing job at TekPaw Net Solutions in London. Starting as an intern and moving through the ranks, I am now a Team Leader at Tekpaw, managing a team of Account Executives. I manage several website's advertising platforms (Facebook, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Taboola, Outbrain, Push networks & more) in-house for TekPaw with my team. This involves creating campaigns and all creatives on the above mentioned advertising platforms, managing budgets and bids, researching trends and developing new techniques within PPC and media buying. I oversee the performance of my team members, am responsible for all training of staff members and report directly to upper management. My team is responsible for well over £1m turnover per year.I love learning new skills and have taught myself many throughout my career. In PPC I actively stay on top of industry news, research the latest techniques and best practices online and teach myself how to use new platforms. As a designer I taught myself html 5 and CSS for web design as well as most facets of the Adobe Creative Suite. For my web clients I worked with many online tools including Shopify, Wordpress and Mailchimp in order to give them the online presence they needed.Clients include: Dorling Kindersley (Penguin), Hodder Education, Human Factors International, Morpho + Luna.
