Background

About Leo Vidarsson

I am a finance professional with experience across diverse industries, including Seafood and Real Estate, as well as involvement in startup venture. My expertise lies in financial analysis, due diligence, and project management, demonstrated through roles at DVG, Leo Seafood, and Laxey. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Finance at UCI, where I’m focused on learning practical investment strategies and sharpening my market analysis skills. As the team lead for international equities and a contributor to the energy sector team in SMIF, I’ve gained hands-on experience evaluating global markets, identifying opportunities, and conducting in-depth industry research. I also actively manage my own investment portfolio, investing in domestic and international equities and bonds, which has consistently outperformed benchmarks. Using long-term, fundamentally driven investment philosophy. This hands-on experience has deepened my understanding of market dynamics, risk management, and investment strategies.
