Currently, I work as a Product Testing Analyst at Organon, a spin off from MSD/Merck, where I prepare samples and, using HPLC and UV spectrophotometry, analyse products such as Vytorin (Ezetimibe/Simvastatin), Sinemet (Carbidopa/Levodopa), and Maxalt (Rizatriptan Benzoate). Previously, I was a Pharmacology Student at Newcastle University, graduating with a 2:1. I assisted in germline research at the Life Science Centre during my Final Year Research Project, titled: Developing Molecular Tools for the Visualisation of DNA Repair in Mouse Embryos. Skills/experience: HPLC, PCR, gel electrophoresis, bacterial culture, nanodrop, microscopy, bioinformatics, dissolutions, assays, degradates, content uniformity, measuring and adjusting pH, UV, pipetting, weighing, documentation, following SOPs and cGMPs.
