I am an aspiring engineer with a strong foundation in project management, construction, and engineering design. My ultimate goal is to become a licensed professional engineer (PE) with PMP certification. I am actively seeking opportunities to gain practical experience in the field, as well as pursuing additional training in areas such as AutoCAD, construction estimating, and contract management. In addition, I am also pursuing the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification and EIT exam. With 2 years of experience as a Junior Project Manager and a solid educational background in project management, I am committed to further developing my skills in areas such as project planning, risk management, scheduling, and stakeholder management. I am dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest project management methodologies and techniques. As an AutoCAD Drafter/Estimator with Elite Aluminum Ltd, I specialize in creating detailed 2D drawings of railing systems and preparing construction details drawings from architectural plans using AutoCAD software. I also maintain current knowledge of building codes and design the railing system and section details based on the code. With my experience, I am proficient in preparing accurate materials takeoffs for upcoming projects and creating detailed estimates of projects from tender documents. As a Junior Project Manager with MHM Construction, I managed multiple projects and ensured that all deliverables were on time, within scope, and of high quality. My responsibilities included developing project plans and schedules, leading and coordinating project teams of up to 8 members, and conducting weekend meetings with the team members. I implemented quality control procedures to improve efficiency and minimize material wastage. As a Site Engineer at Abhilash Construction India, my job responsibilities included authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans, providing technical advice to improve productivity, organizing materials and ensuring site safety and cleanliness, preparing cost estimates, negotiating with suppliers and vendors, preparing work schedules, completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team. Overall, I possess skills in project management, strategic planning, financial analysis, customer service, and negotiation.
