About Leon Andre Saqui

They said to learn by doing, so I learnt and did. Now I'm here to show what my learning can do for the world. The mustang engineering community taught me to be a well versed mechanical engineer. I have been taught how to design everything and anything; if there's something I've never encountered, I can study it and make it my own. Examples of my fields of study include: Static and Dynamic Forces, Design of Mechanical Systems, Materials Engineering, MATLAB/Simulink Programming, Heat Transfer and Thermal Modeling, and Thermal/Fluid Dynamics. Conversely, the learn by doing culture taught me to apply its mindset well beyond my comforts of academic expertise and reach new height in any passion I may pursue. I have applied to this mindset to the world of fashion, creating my own brand and its identity from the ground up from nothing. I learned how to design clothes and graphics by jumping in head first, learning what I could just from the inspirations within my closet as well as connections I sought to make in the local brand owner community. From this learn by doing mindset, I now have my own LLC clothing company named [dash] and regularly drop ranging from cut and sew garment to locally embroidered designs on wholesale blanks. Outside of engineering and fashion design, you can find me laying down the low frequency on my Fender Jazz Bass. Or high flying disco strumming on my Fender Stratocaster. I am a lover and student of music and have been practicing the art since the 5th grade. You'll hear me jamming different genres and records from Chic to The Eagles to Rage Against the Machine. Ask me for some of my favorite basslines! You will also find me brewing my favorite blends and single origins as a home barista. Coffee is another art form I am striving to learn more in, both to serve myself the most prime pour and also teach others about coffee.
