About Leon Anufriyenko
Graduating Environmental Engineering Student from The Ohio State University. As a lab assistant in a hydrochemistry lab, I helped take samples, perform tests, and process data regarding the effect of Nano-bubble Ozone Technology (NBOT) on Harmful Algal Blooms in a project with USACE. I gained experience with TOC analysis, Aqualog Spectrometers, Molecular filtering for DNA sampling, and chlorophyll sample testing. I am currently within the process of an academic project to design an ozone facility for a local water treatment plant. This project included completion of B-o-D tables, design of facility layout and contact basin, calculation and selection of dosage and retention time, piping calculations, and ozone generator calculations. I have a variety of relevant coursework to my field, including water resource engineering, open channel hydraulics, statics and dynamics of mechanics, fluid mechanics, microbiology, and organic chemistry. I am proficient in MATLAB programming, and have experience with SOLIDWORKS 3D modeling software.
