About Leon Hampton

I am a Probation Parole Officer at the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles (ABPP), where I have been working for over three years. I am responsible for supervising, monitoring, and counseling offenders who are on probation or parole, as well as conducting investigations and preparing reports. I am certified by the Alabama Police Officer Training Commission in both corrections and police, and I have a Master of Business Administration in Criminal Justice from Northcentral University. In addition to my role at ABPP, I am also a Master Sergeant in the US Air Force Reserve, where I have been serving since 2002. I have a background in civil engineering, water and fuels maintenance, and plumbing functions, and I have managed and maintained various systems and facilities on the base. I have received multiple awards and honors for my leadership, supervision, and teamwork skills, such as the Supervisor of the Year and the Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Month. I am passionate about supporting and empowering my fellow service members, as well as the citizens of Alabama.
