About Leon Liao

20257CVDRTALED My name is Leon Liao, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, with an expected graduation date of July 2025. During my academic journey, I have specialized in materials science, semiconductor physics, and related technologies, conducting in-depth research in the Advanced Thin Films and Device Lab. My research encompasses various techniques such as graphene fabrication, metal evaporation, CVD process, RTA, and DUV-LED optoelectronic characteristics analysis. In addition to my technical expertise, I have actively participated in international conferences and completed a semiconductor industry program to enhance my knowledge of industry and processes. I have also taken courses in economics and management to develop a well-rounded perspective for problem-solving and strategic thinking. I am passionate about exploring new challenges and have cultivated diverse interests. During my undergraduate years, I was involved in the student association, basketball team, and participated in an exchange program in Japan, where I gained additional professional knowledge. These experiences have equipped me with excellent time management, project planning, design thinking, and teamwork skills, along with leadership qualities and problem-solving abilities.
