About Leon Nerlich

I graduated in July 2022 with a Master's degree in Microsystems Engineering from the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg, with a specialization in renewable energies (focus on hydrogen). Likewise, I also have good knowledge of electronics and good basic understanding of chemistry, physics and computer science. Through my studies and private interests, I have gained very good English skills over the last years. Besides my studies, I was able to gain professional experience as a student assistant. Here I worked for more than two years at Fraunhofer ISE in the PV module and fuel cell department. Among other things, I gained practical experience with fuel cells and photovoltaics, and also have good experience with clean room processes and surface modulations. I also did my master thesis at Fraunhofer-ISE and investigated the contamination of PEM fuel cells for the thesis. More precisely, I fabricated fuel cells with a tolerance improving SiO2 layer and characterized them in a test rig and evaluated them with Python. Now I am looking for a permanent position in a motivated company in the hydrogen field, worldwide. I have a class B driver's license, and I am willing to relocate.
