I had been working in an outpatient setting and on a mobile unit as a Nurse Sonographer, doing limited pregnancy ultrasounds. As of February 1, 2023, I have started working in the Women’s Health and Wellness Clinic of Walton as a childbirth educator and lactation consultant. I have worked as an RN in the Maternity setting for 36 years, primarily in L&D and Lactation, along with also working part time in home care and outpatient surgery. The Lactation employment included working in a hospital setting and also in a freestanding outpatient Lactation Center. I am most interested in working as an IBCLC, or, a nursing position in an outpatient setting or virtually, but am open to other possibilities.
