About Leonard Taylor

I focus on delivering a comprehensive approach to managing wealth that begins with listening to a client's needs and helping to ensure every strategy is grounded in understanding what each client wants to achieve. I help address the various aspects of clients' financial lives, and I am driven by a passion for delivering excellent service and helping clients pursue their goals. I follow a disciplined process that begins with first taking the time to fully understand each client's particular needs, concerns, and priorities. I collaborate with my clients' advisory team to help deliver a comprehensive estate and tax efficient experience. With more than 38 years of experience in the financial services sector, I joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2010. My focus is on serving High net worth individuals, families, business owners, trusts, and foundations. I graduated from Keene State College with a B.S. in Business Management and Finance in 1984. In addition, I graduated from the New England School of Banking at Williams College in 1989. My wife, Edie, and I live in Cumberland Center, Maine. Our daughter graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law and is a Public Defender for the State of Virginia. Our son earned a Masters degree from Tufts University in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning. He's currently working on global climate change issues. We enjoy outdoor activities wherever we are, especially Maine. We enjoy helping civic organizations and helping youth find personal success that is crucial to building a solid foundation for their future endeavors. Edie and I have been involved with Scouting, serving in various rolls from merit badge counsellors to troop leadership. I joined the Board of Trustees for the Pine Tree Council of BSA. We are proud parents of Andrew Taylor, OA and Eagle Scout, 2015. In 2014 and 2015 Lad received the President's Volunteer Service Award (Silver) from the Corporation for National and Community Service (The Points of Light Foundation).
