About Leonardo Adrian

Leonardo is graduated as a second best GPA from Parahyangan Catholic University, majoring in Mathematics. During his study, he is focus on Actuarial Science fields hence well-educated on counting risk assets and reserving, especially in the insurance company. Moreover, he has passed several certification exams held by The Society of Actuaries Indonesia: A10 – Financial Mathematics, A20 – Probability and Statistics, A30 - Economics, A40 - Accounting, A50 – Statistical Methods, and A60 – Actuarial Mathematics. In Astra Insurance, as a health pricing analyst, he is experienced in calculating premium for the benefits covered also analyzing claim frequency and severity characteristics for group health insurance. In this internship program, he is also doing an experience study for group insurance pricing. In Manulife, he worked under the valuation division, especially in the local, capital, and sharia reporting team. He performed reserve calculation, reserve movement analysis, risk-based capital, IFRS 17 initial adoption and insurance reporting compliance (monthly OJK report, actuarial report, yearly report, and audit report). In Milliman, he is working for nonlife practices. His responsibilities are related to actuarial reserving, liability valuation and stress testing exercises, health insurance pricing, also IFRS 17 implementation for nonlife (re)insurers and (re)takaful operators in the Southeast Asia region.
