About Leonardo Chaves

Hi, I am Leonardo. Graduated in Chemical Engineering from UFPR between 2019 and 2025, I've gained extensive experience in research and leadership roles. Actively engaged in the Pilot School of Chemical Engineering, I've taught courses, managed departments, and worked as a research fellow at NPDEAS, focusing on thermal bioengineering and systems modeling. I refined my leadership abilities as an engaged member, later becoming the Academic Director and President of the Chemical Engineering Student Council, where I initiated intersectoral partnerships and led a university extension project. Additionally, I contributed as a council member at my university's Teaching, Research, and Social Outcomes Council, demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence and continuous advancement. Besides my graduation and extracurricular involvement, there are extra disciplines and technical formation about petroleum, pulp and paper bleaching, ceramics, business administration, and economic engineering.
