About Leonardo Graever

I am a trained anaesthetist and family and community physician with a Master’s degree in Public Health and a PhD in Cardiovascular Research. Over nearly three decades, I have developed a diverse career spanning clinical care, healthcare management, public health consultancy, academic research, and teaching. My work has focused on strengthening primary care systems, managing non-communicable diseases, implementing telemedicine interventions, and improving healthcare quality and patient safety. I have led large-scale public health initiatives, contributed to national and international research projects and published in peer-reviewed journals. A committed, curious, and collaborative professional, I thrive in both independent and team-based environments, demonstrating strategic thinking and implementation skills, as well as academic rigour in my work.
