About Leonardo Lamadrid

I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey and currently work as an Intern in FX & Rates Derivatives (Corporate Sales) at HSBC.I’m particularly interested in how financial markets operate, especially in the area of derivatives. I enjoy working on the analysis, structuring, and monitoring of products such as FX Spots, Forwards, and Swaps. During my studies, I completed two minors: one in Corporate Finance & Investment Banking and another in Alternative Investments & Fund Administration, which gave me a broader understanding of the financial industry.I’ve developed a strong technical and quantitative foundation, and hold an AMIB certification. I also have experience using tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, and R Studio for statistical analysis, complex modeling, and financial data visualization.I’m driven to keep learning and growing in roles where markets, analytical thinking, and strategic decision-making come together.
