Leonardo Limongelli has >25 years of experience as Senior Manager in various global footprint industries (Automotive & Food Industry). In my current role at Tetra Pak, I am responsible for the strategic deployment of single-use plastic initiatives. Starting from July 1st, I will extend my responsibilities to include preparing and managing future strategic deployments that arise as a result of Tetra Pak's sustainability transformation. This transformation is aimed at establishing Tetra Pak as the undisputed leader in sustainability within its field of business. With my team, I will be actively involved in driving these strategic initiatives to ensure the company's success in this crucial area. In Tetra Pak he has also acted as the Chief Procurement Officer purchasing all capital equipment and materials for the development of new products and as Liquid Food Upgrades Director – responsible of Global Portfolio of Service products for worldwide installations Processing & Packaging. Previously, Leonardo held positions for Ferrari F1 and Lamborghini in the roles of Head of Aerodynamics and Wind Tunnel General Manager and Senior Program Manager (business development responsibilities including marketing and sales). He was part of the Formula 1 team, as both a driver and constructor, that won 14 World Championships in 10 years (for which he was Knighted). Highly skilled at re-engineering processes to streamline operations to enhance both efficiency and effectiveness. Expert at coaching and leading employee teams to embrace an international corporate culture. Leader in Industry Innovation integrated with firm experience in Supply Chain Management & Procurement. Fluent in Italian and English. Able to speak and read in French. Honoured with national prize “Cavaliere Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana” in 2004. Italian Citizen. Born in 1968, former Air Force Officer so fully eligible for security clearance.
