About Leonardo Natali

Maintenance and Reliability Planner, graduated in electronic technician and close to conclude bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering with more than 14 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Have started my career as a maintenance electrician in the textile industry, focused on preventive and corrective activities. Later, still as a maintenance electrician, I had the opportunity to join the tire and rubber industry, where I was able to learn about large, high-power equipment (Mixers, Extruders and Calenders), both in the mechanical and electrical areas. Initially, I focused on corrective services, but after gaining more experience in the company I joined the preventive and predictive maintenance team. After 5 years at the company - and after starting my degree - I was promoted, moving from Maintenance Electrician to Maintenance and Reliability Coordinator, focused on managing corrective activities during shifts and being one of the main links on factory’s floor with the Management and plant’s Board. In this role I was able to acquire extensive knowledge of processes, machines and equipment, as well as improve my management skills in the face of daily corrective maintenance conditions. In April 2021 I had a horizontal progression, starting to work as a Maintenance and Reliability Planner, focused on the Extruders area, where I develop lots of planning activities for plant shutdowns, major works, preventive and predictive activities. I also control the maintenance budget and manage resources, directing them strategically to meet the plant's priorities.
