About Leonardo van Helden

With over five years of retail experience, including three years in retail management at Lush, I have honed my skills in leadership, team development, and customer service. My journey with Lush was driven by a passion for social justice, drawn to the company's commitment to ethical practices and community activism. However, feeling compelled to offer more direct support to those in need, I transitioned to become a Welfare Benefits Advisor at IncomeMax. In my current role, I am deeply fulfilled by the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives. My commitment to social justice remains at the forefront of my work as I advocate for and support individuals in accessing the benefits and resources they are entitled to. Every day, I am driven by a genuine desire to empower and uplift those facing various challenges. At home, you can either find me rolling around on the floor with my cat Luigi (or in the forest taking him for a walk) or in the kitchen, cooking too much pasta and dancing to ABBA. These moments of joy and relaxation fuel me, allowing me to continue the great work that me and my colleagues at IncomeMax do.
