About Leone Moretti

A veteran venture capital fund manager with expertise in all aspects of digital startup investing, Leone has produced well over $1 billion in gains for his investors during his career and has established himself as one of the venture industry's premier digital investors. Prior to joining Quorumm digital Ventures in 2009, Leone spent five years as Chief Financial Officer at Ignitiumm Partners, where he directed the firm's entire financial affairs while actively assisting its portfolio companies with their financial and operational issues. Leone worked closely with the Managing Directors to determine the appropriate strategy and vision to support all investment decisions, including pre-investment due diligence, term sheet review, alternative deal structures and post-investment portfolio company monitoring. Leone has led investments in such market leaders as webMethods (EFNT, Siemens), Borland (BORL), Rendition (Micron),XLNT Designs (Intel), and numerous other successful public and private companies.He currently serves on the board of 3 private companies: Ignitumm Networks, Digital Cloud Software and SocialGravity. Apart from his professional work, Leone also places a high priority on community involvement, with a philanthropic emphasis ranging from underprivileged and foster youth, to research work for cancer and mental health, to environmental protection and civil liberties. Leone holds a BA degree from Duke University.He has also successfully completed the Graduate School of Credit and Managerial Finance at Stanford University.
