About Leonel MacHava

One main idea has guided me since I wrote my first line of code: make technology accessible to everyone. Early on, I even created a Portuguese-based programming language so others could learn faster. These days, I’m channeling that same energy into AppVise, a no-code platform that uses AI to let anyone build web apps simply by describing their needs. I have over 16 years of experience in full-stack engineering and leadership, blending deep technical skills with strategic decision-making. I’ve led cross-functional teams across e-commerce, SaaS, and enterprise projects. My track record includes launching AI-driven fraud detection systems that saved over $1M, building a mobile app used by users, and optimizing platforms for growth. My toolkit spans React, Node.js, Python, C++, and more, along with the cloud and infrastructure know-how to deliver scalable products. Lately, I’ve been focusing on NLP, open-source LLMs, and AI agents, prototyping new ways for people to interact with software. As an engineering lead and Founder, I enjoy designing system architecture, mentoring developers, and shaping a collaborative engineering culture. If you’re looking for someone who can build end-to-end solutions or drive AI-powered innovations, feel free to connect. I’m always open to discussing new ideas and potential partnerships.
