About Leonie Stuthmann

Food Management - that combines a dual Bachelor in Business Economics with an additional focus on the Food Industry. The perfect opportunity to connect my private passion for food, with my professional aspirations. Before stepping into the world of culinary and economics, I got the Bachelors degree in Psychology at the university of Cologne. Due to the strong scientific focus, I was able to lay the basis for my since then constantly growing fondness of analytic thinking and working. First insights into the world of marketing and HR aroused my interest for business administration and encouraged me to further pursue this path - leading me right to Food Management. This diverse education gave me deep insights into the interactions of companies and their employees and essentially shaped my interests. An example: Sustainability within the context of economics. Here I find it particularly exciting how companies can adapt their strategy development to todays demands. Away from abstract and linear management decisions, and towards continous change processes that actively involve all empolyees. For my Bachelor Thesis I looked at this topic as well and subsequently wrote a Paper that is supposed to encourage companies to rethink their view on strategy.
