Using technology to improve business capability and efficiency is my passion. I have achieved this by implementing new systems, changing current systems, changing behaviour by defining a new processes or it is even as simple as getting people to use their existing system properly. I have embraced the Digital revolution as it is the future. However as Digital matures it organisations are realising that if it is not built on a well architected core it will fail. The Digital core is predominately a combination of the system of record, the ERP and CRM systems.I have spent many years leveraging the full potential of the organisations ERP and the associated systems. I have been involved in all aspects of a system lifecycle. Based on business needs and business strategy, I have defined and socialised the supporting system strategy, developing business cases to implement the strategy, designed the solutions which could include selecting new or changing existing systems, implementing the solution in a timely and cost effective manner and then supporting and optimising these systems. These have been large programmes of work, projects or even small changes. Systems include cloud and on premise. Integration and Data is always a challenge. Being in a Large Global organisation there are always multiple and diverse stakeholders, which requires good engagement and communication skills. Selecting the right implementation methodology is imperative, Agile, waterfall or both. These changes always drive Business transformation with change management being a key aspect. This can be a challenge when working in foreign countries, with language and cultural differences. I have found good end-to-end Architecture and strong management support is the basis for a successful delivery even in a complex global environment. I have covered every aspect of implementing and running an ERP system, in small and large companies. I have worked on all the major ERP's including SAP, JDE, MS Axapta and BAAN/Infor LN. I have been involved in the implementation of many ancillary systems like Salesforce.com and other cloud applications. The many roles I have fulfilled over the years include Programme and Project management (Waterfall and Agile), Enterprise and Solution Architecture, Business Analysis and Design, Business Transformation, Functional Consulting, Presales, Change Management, and even in the early day’s software development. Other roles include defining and implementing the Global ERP Strategies, IT Management, Consulting Management and System Design Management.
