Left Marathon in 2004 to join the Board of John Wood Group PLC as Chief Executive of the Wood Group Production Facilities business and as the Group Director responsible for HSE. Spent 8 years significantly growing the Production Facilities business in scale, scope and global footprint. Retired from the Wood Group Board at the end of June 2012. Took up the post of CEO of Ithaca Energy in October 2013. Spent 7 very interesting years working with some great people building the business to be the substantial North Sea independent that it is today. Left Ithaca in September 2020. Currently Non Executive Chairman of Jersey Oil and Gas plc, Independent Non Executive director of Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited, Non Executive Director of Denholm Energy Services Limited and Senior Independent Director of Avingtrans PLC.
