I have over 25 years of experience working in the Australian Federal Public Service - Australian Border Force (ABF)/ Australian Customs Service. During this time, I worked in a wide variety of roles including Corporate enabling roles, Enforcement and Compliance activities. I have extensive experience in both travel and cargo facilitation processes. I managed the ABF component of the G20 meeting in Brisbane in 2014. I represented the Australian government in numerous overseas forums and roles, including the Trade Facilitation Advisor role to the Papua New Guinea Customs Service. After retiring as an Executive Level 1 Officer (Inspector) from Australian Border Force, I took a short-term assignment as the Operations Expert on a USAID funded project working with the Timor Leste Customs Administration. I most recently joined 3D Logisitics as the Government Relationship Manager/Consultant drawing on my extensive knowledge of Customs clearance processes, relevant legislation, Customs licencing requirements and the supply chain processes in general.
