About Lesley Arant
In my current role as a graduate student in the Biomechanical Advances in Medicine Lab at University of Wisconsin - Madison, I am studying how joint biomechanics are affected by orthopedic surgeries. Specifically, I am involved in evaluating and validating a ligament tensiometer for future clinical translation in total knee arthroplasty procedures. During my time as a graduate student and in future R&D roles in the medical device industry, I hope my research findings can be used by clinicians to help guide intraoperative decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
