Les is a relationship building, participative leader with 20+ years of administrative and clinical experience in behavioral healthcare, hospital systems, public health and higher education settings. Les' approach blends an applied and eclectic understanding of clinical-psychoanalytic and social systems theories to elicit transformational change and to enhance performance at the individual, group/team, and organizational level.Les has a history of volunteering and community building - from participating in peacemaking circles rooted in Native American tradition to promote racial healing to using music to advance social justice and change for the LGBTQ+ community. Les sees social work as heart-work and believes as Sigmund Freud observed:"love and work are the cornerstones of our humanness"- the union of which at times illusive yet nonetheless worthy of persevering endeavor.
