About Lesley Huff

Lesley Huff, PsyD is a licensed psychologist and Certified Teacher in Mindful Self-Compassion. In August 2023, she joined the Center for Counseling and Human Development at Millersville University, where she provides counseling services and support to the student body and university community. Through the Samaritan Center, she continues to provide ordination evaluations and trainings to local and regional religious communities, to offer courses in mindfulness and self-compassion through the Change Through Compassion program, and to integrate her experience in Industrial and Organizational Psychology to consult to individuals and organizations. Lesley earned her Doctorate of Psychology, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Chestnut Hill College. After obtaining her Masters of Business Administration from Temple University's Fox School of Business, Lesley worked for organizations such as SAP America, Inc, General Physics Corporation (a subsidiary of GP Strategies), International Data Corporation, and The Marketing Audit, supporting internal and external clients in projects relating to strategic planning, knowledge management, business intelligence, client and partner relationship management, customer satisfaction, and process improvement. She currently teaches courses in Psychology at Montgomery County Community College, in Blue Bell, PA. Lesley is a Certified Teacher in the evidence-based program, Mindful Self-Compassion, developed by Drs. Chris Germer and Kristin Neff. She received her certification in Mindful Self-Compassion through the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion in connection with UCSD’s Center for Mindfulness. She started the Change Through Compassion Seminar Series in March 2013, which provides hands-on activities and instruction to foster mindfulness and self-compassion. Lesley offers Core Skill Intensives and 8-Week Workshops in Mindful Self-Compassion. Lesley served as a Consultation Group Leader in the Self-Compassion in Psychotherapy (SCIP) program at the Center for MSC for their 1st and 2nd cohorts. In Spring 2023, Lesley completed her training in the Teen version of the MSC course.
