About Lesley Hurst

For the last 20 years I have supported Children, Young People and their families who are experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, social/exam stress, family difficulties, agoraphobia and many other issues. Previously employed as an Education Welfare Officer, Learning Mentor, and Pupil Support Manager in a PRU. I am currently employed as a Safeguarding Consultant delivering training in all aspects of safeguarding in education, auditing education establishments and providing supervision. Additionally I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner and Life Coach. I have over 30 plus years’ experience working with people from every imaginable background and situation. I have a passion for enabling others to live their best life and this led me to complete this training. I spent 13 years in the Metropolitan Police Service. I was a specialist serious sexual offence investigator, ran a domestic violence unit and was instrumental in the planning of the first Youth Offending Units. My Qualifications; • Clinical Hypnotherapist • Life Coach • NLP Practitioner • Senior Accreditation to the Accredited Counsellors Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapist register (ACCPH) • Accreditation with BAThH (British Association of Therapeutic Hypnotherapists and NLP Practitioners). • Mental Health First Aider • Designated Safeguarding Lead with enhanced DBS status.
