About Lesley Jackson

With more than 15 years of experience in the municipal government, non-profit and education sectors, I am currently the Director of Community Partnerships at County of Brant, where I lead and oversee Community Safety and Wellbeing, Accessibility and Inclusion, Capital Fundraising and Public Transportation. I have a strong background in mediation and conflict resolution, having obtained a post-graduate certificate from Munn Conflict Resolution Services and having applied my ADR skills in various settings and situations. I hold a bachelors degree in Psychology, a diploma in business administration and a post-graduate certificate in leadership management, which enable me to manage complex and diverse teams, as well as to plan, execute, and evaluate programs and services effectively and efficiently. Some of my core competencies include effective issues management, strong interpersonal skills, problem solving, community engagement, strategic thinking, and innovation. I am passionate about creating and fostering positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, such as local businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions, to achieve common goals and objectives. I am also committed to continuous learning and professional development, as evidenced by my previous role as an instructor at Conestoga College, where I taught and mentored students in the School of Business.
