About Lesley Rueb

Bringing over twenty-five years of grant writing, fund development, public relations, compliance reporting, and project evaluation experience - from both sides of the border. In my professional life, I lead the development of collaborative partnerships through technical proposals, procurement summaries and the realization of new funding streams in support of K-12 school improvement and direct academic support services. In my spare time, when I'm not being a supportive wife and encouraging mom, I enjoy leading community and fund development initiatives. This love spawned after founding the Undergraduate Neuroscience Society at Dalhousie University. I've succeeded in generating financial support in excess of $300M for large non-profits around the nation and am eager to do more in collaboration with K-12 school districts, in both Canada and the United States, in an effort to foster student learning and the development of 21st century skills with real-world applications. I have a degree in Behavioural Neuroscience and another in Cognitive Development. I am a graduate of the Entrepreneurial Education program with the CEED in Halifax, Nova Scotia and have successfully completed the Leadership Excellence for Non-Profits invitational certificate program in Sugarland, Texas.
