About Lesley Watson

I started my working life in an office based environment, as well as working in customer services. I became PA to a small team of loss assessors whilst working at Axa Insurance. After completing a BA(Hons) I decided to change career and become a further education teacher. I completed a PGCE in Education and worked at Salford City Campus in Manchester, then at Bridgwater and Taunton College in Somerset where I was the programme manager for a team of 30+ teachers. After leaving the college I worked for the National Consortium of Colleges visiting care homes, nurseries, community centres etc delivering social care qualifications alongside Literacy and Numeracy. After deciding to leave teaching, I worked for a short time for a local engineering company before joining Montana Scaffolding in 2020. My role at Montana is varied; I deal with enquiries, day-to-day admin, arranging staff training, making sure the fleet of vehicles are road compliant, staff timesheets, staff holidays, ordering stock and dealing with purchase orders and keeping various H&S records up-to-date.
