About Lesley Webster

As part of the USA TODAY Network, I work across our syndication and distribution partners to help expand the reach of our fantastic journalism! Through my time with Gannett, I've worked across multiple teams and divisions to bring new strategies to life. Most recently with our branded content studio, GET Creative, I lead content creation from the ideation phase all the way through publishing. I worked directly with brands and agencies to determine the best content executions and the right content creators to produce well-rounded campaigns. I started my time at Gannett at the Video Production Center. As a Senior Producer I worked with a team producing digital video content for use across all of Gannett's sites, including USA TODAY and 100+ newspapers across the country. Before coming to Gannett/USA TODAY Network, I worked as a Senior Producer at Broadcast Atlanta. I assisted clients with commercial, online video needs from project idea to completion. I managed freelance photographers and fulltime video editors to make sure projects were done to the client's satisfaction, on deadline. The rest of my background centers around TV news. I started my career as the News Director/Anchor at WBUP in Michigan, before moving onto Reporter positions at CBS-affiliates in Massachusetts and Atlanta. Throughout my time on air, I was responsible for shooting, writing, editing and producing all daily packages that aired throughout the markets where I worked.
