About Leslie Abuchi

You may have met a lot of data analysts, but you haven’t met me.I am honestly passionate about solving problems through data. We live in a world where it’s not just about what you can do, but who you are. Beyond the technical skills, I bring curiosity, empathy, clear communication, entreprenuerial and strategic thinking to every project I take on.My journey in data analysis began with the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) during the Time Release Study (TRS) project, which is the first of its kind in Africa. I was privileged to lead a field team, gaining first-hand insight into how data drives operational efficiency and impacts the world around us. That experience solidified my belief: data is the language of clarity, strategy, and impact.I specialize in transforming raw data into clear, actionable dashboards and reports that uncover trends, track KPIs, and support strategic growth. But I also bring more than numbers: I am an empathetic listener, an excellent communicator, and a critical thinker, which enables me to understand my environment and the people I work with.WHAT I DO- Design interactive dashboards and reports that simplify complex data- Analyze key business performance indicators (KPIs) across departments- Clean, model, and interpret data for actionable insights- Support executives with accurate visuals and real-time analyticsKEY TOOLS & SKILLS- Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Dashboards, Power Query)- Power BI (DAX, Relationships, Drillthrough, Slicers)- Tableau (Dashboards, Filters, Calculated Fields, Data Blending)- Data Cleaning, Modeling, and Visualization- KPI Development and Business Performance TrackingI speak the language of numbers and insights, and I’m passionate about helping businesses turn data into decisions, strategy, and growth.
